1

Draft in your browser

Line items, tax, discount, deposit %, your logo and colors. Drafts never leave your device.

2

Send one link

Your client sees a clean, branded quote and accepts by typing their name — no login, no PDF ping-pong.

3

Invoice the yes

Accepted? One click turns the quote into an InvoiceMoose invoice — same items, same numbers, zero retyping.

Why quotes belong next to your invoices

Every unpaid invoice starts life as a quote — and the slowest part of getting paid is usually the gap between “can you send me a price?” and a signed-off number. A quote your client can open and accept on their phone closes that gap the same day, and the acceptance record (name + timestamp) heads off the “I never agreed to that” conversation before it starts.

Because quotes live inside InvoiceMoose, the accepted quote is already an invoice waiting to happen: same line items, same tax treatment, same branding, one click apart. No copying totals between apps, no mismatched numbers, no second tool to pay for.

Questions, answered

Is this quote maker really free?

Yes. Drafting quotes is unlimited and free, and you can send 3 quote links a month on the free plan. Pro ($9/mo) removes the limit and the small InvoiceMoose footer on the client page — the same Pro that covers unlimited invoice downloads.

Do my clients need an account to view or accept?

No. Your client opens one link, sees the quote, and accepts by typing their name. You see the acceptance (with a timestamp) on your quotes page.

What's the difference between a quote and an estimate?

A quote is a fixed price offer for defined work; an estimate is a best-effort approximation that may shift. This tool works for both — the document is yours to word, and many trades use the terms interchangeably.

Where is my data stored?

Drafts live in your browser, not on our servers — the same privacy-first design as InvoiceMoose invoices. Only quotes you explicitly send are stored server-side so your client's link works.

Can I turn an accepted quote into an invoice?

That's the whole point. One click copies the line items, client, tax and branding into a ready-to-send InvoiceMoose invoice — no retyping, no transcription errors.

Can I add a deposit?

Yes — set a deposit percentage and it appears on the quote as due on acceptance. Online deposit payment is coming soon.
